Sigma Kappa has been providing a lifelong fraternal experience to young women like your daughter. Since November 9, 1874, Sigma Kappa has initiated more than 141,000 members while providing membership in 105 collegiate chapters and 131 alumnae chapters. Sisterhood, friendship, and personal development are the foundations of Sigma Kappa membership. Your daughter is now a part of that legacy.

Sigma Kappa Scholarship
Each quarter Sigma Kappa holds a scholarship banquet in honor of the girls who are making great grades, and reaching their GPA goals in school from the quarter prior to the banquet. Cool prizes are given away at each banquet such as ipod shuffles, gift certificates and study survival kits!
Our Study Session System
Sigma Kappa holds a study hall twice a week for girls to come have a quiet place to study and take advantage of a spacious room with chalkboards and whiteboards. The purpose of this is to encourage people to come study with one another or bring their individual work and have a nice environment to study in.
Sigma Kappa Philanthropy
Sigma Kappa participates in a lot of philantropy events as well as holds our own events to raise money for various organizations. These are some of our own philantropies that we have hosted/have planned for this year.
Sigma Kappa Jean Sale:
Each year we host a jean sale with top of the line jean brands at discount prices. The event takes place on campus and the sale is a hit, many pairs of jeans sell within hours. The profits made go to our philantropy foundation.
Frats at Bat:
This event is also hosted annually and is an event in which fraternities pay to participate in a baseball tournament in which we (Sigma Kappas) are their coaches! It is a lot of fun and the combination of fees for each team to enter also goes toward our philantropy foundation.
Senior Prom:
On May 17 we will be hosting the 3rd annual "Senior Prom" held at Manse on Marsh. This amazing event will have appetizers, live music, as well as a silent and live auction. All of the proceeds will be donated to the local Alzheimer's Assocation. This should be a great event!
